1. Black Canary
Don’t worry, no spoilers for Arrow Season 4. With Black Canary actress Katie Cassidy presumably having a bit more free time, a picture she posted on Twitter, that has since been removed, may have hinted at a AAA game she’s working on. (At the time of posting, the image can be viewed here).
The image showed her in a capture studio, surrounded by dozens of cameras, while a caption at the bottom read: “The process of game making! Freakin awesome!!!” It indicates that this is no middle of the road title she’s working on, as typically, only developers with the extra funds can afford to full-body scan their actors. Because Cassidy can fight, it’s safe to assume she has what it takes to record her own moves for a fighting game.
Since Black Canary is now widely known, surely the audience is ready to see her show off in Injustice 2. Stephen Amell lent his pipes to Injustice: Gods Among Us DLC, as well as Lego Batman 3, now that these characters and their actors are better established, it’s the perfect time to see them represented outside of just the television screen.
Besides the Katie Cassidy tease, that may or may not be Injustice 2-related, Black Canary is a badass and one of the most distinguished hand to hand fighters in the DC Universe. If she doesn’t make an appearance as a playable character, it would be a big disappointment.
