3. Black Mask
It is somewhat difficult to look through Batman’s infamous rouges gallery and find somebody who has not appeared in previous Batman games, but Black Mask is one in particular who deserves another shot. Although he appeared front and centre in 2013’s Batman: Arkham Origins, he was overshadowed significantly when another masked menace stole the show.
In Telltale’s Batman game he could feature prominently however given the character’s origins story. The soul reason businessman Roman Sionis took to a life of crime, and a liking to creepy skull masks, was because Bruce Wayne overlooked his failing steel mill when he was crying out for investment. That story right there could play into an important choice in the game. Since Telltale promises the series will focus on Bruce Wayne as much as Batman, one scenario could be do you sit down and discuss Sionis’ dying steel mill or focus your attention on Wayne’s nightly escapades? If you choose the latter, you see the birth of Black Mask, choose the other option and a villain may kill a dozen or so people.
Black Mask could be a perfect fit for the series.
